Big response on the doorstep in Flockton today, with many residents angry about Labour's response to the urgent need for a bypass in the area.
Local resident and Flockton bypass campaigner, Kath Middleton (pictured), said: "We are bitterly disappointed that Kirklees Council seem to be ignoring our concerns about road safety and speeding motorists on the main road through the village.
Local school children are being put in danger on a daily basis and if the traffic situation continues, it won't be long before someone is killed or seriously injured"
