Mark Eastwood has praised the Dewsbury Lantern Festival, held in honour of World Mental Health day.
The family-friendly festival was held in the town centre and welcomed a host of brightly lit creatures and creations, as well as stalls, attractions and street food.
Mark said
"It was wonderful to see so many families in town on an evening, just having a great time and sharing community spirit. I'm looking forward to many more events like this in the future - well done to all of those involved in making it happen."
