Mark Eastwood has asked Prime Minister Rishi Sunak about issues surrounding road safety outside schools, after pleas from Year 3 and 6 pupils at Boothroyd Academy in Dewsbury.
The Prime Minister responded that he was in agreement with the Dewsbury MP and pointed out the measures the Government has taken to improve road safety, such as updating the Highway Code, an increase in School Streets and powers for local authorities to reduce speed limits outside schools.
