Busy weekend of constituency events in Shelley & Emley
It has been another busy weekend of constituency events for Mark Eastwood MP in the Dewsbury constituency. In addition to undertaking two extremely busy and challenging night shifts, working alongside West Yorkshire Police as part of the Parliamentary Police and Fire Service Scheme. Mark attended community events in both Emley and Shelley.

"On Saturday (9th July 2022) it was lovely to attend the Emley Open Gardens to sample some beautiful gardens and thank residents for raising funds to help the St. Michael's maintenance fund, a Grade 1 listed building which is much loved by the community. Another port of call was to the long-running Shelley gala on Sunday (10th July 2022) , the weather was glorious and the long running gala did not dissapoint by hosting lots of fun activities and great entertainment. Thank you to all the teams in both Shelley and Emley for organsising these wonderful events."
