Mark Eastwood has raised his concerns for vulnerable passengers in response to the rail operators' plans for ticket office closures.
Mark said
"I've been contacted by a number of constituents who are raising very valid concerns to me, and I am firmly against these proposals. We need to protect elderly, disabled and vulnerable passengers and ensure that they can use the railway as independently as possible."
The consultation is open to all and has been extended from its original deadline to September to allow the full range of views to be gathered.
