Mark Eastwood MP out on the local Election Campaign Trail
Mark Eastwood MP has been out on the campaign trail to support the fantastic local Conservative candidates ahead of the local elections on 5th May.
He recently joined Keith Mallinson in Chickenley, who is fighting a strong campaign for change in Dewsbury East and has a real chance of taking the seat from Labour.
Mark Eastwood MP Said: These elections matter – they will decide who runs services in your area – and how much you will pay for them.
An energy price spike exacerbated by global instability, the war in Ukraine, and coupled with inflation means families face the rising cost of living. So - keeping bills down and cutting council waste and is more important than ever.
And as our high streets, local businesses and services recover from Coronavirus, it’s crucial we don’t ruin the progress communities are making by getting distracted by playing politics.
The choice is clear: You can elect Labour and opposition politicians who waste money and time playing political games.
Or you can elect hardworking local Conservatives who have a proven record of managing money well, delivering high quality local services, and who support good local jobs.
