'Eastwood Wanderers FC' Compete in Local Charity Football Tournament
Commenting on the event which took place on the playing fields in Saville Town on Saturday 23rd July 2022.

"It was great to take part in the C'mon Y'all charity football tournament in Savile Town today.
Well done to all teams who took part and congratulations to those who won prizes, which I was honoured to present alongside the Mayor of Kirklees. It was also a pleasure to showcase such a fantastic event to Cabinet Minister Andrew Stephenson MP who was visiting our town.
Thank you all to my team ‘Eastwood Wanderers’ Steve, Raf, Kad, Farak, Sajid Hussain, Cllr Tony McGrath, Cllr Adam Gregg and my colleague James Daly MP who came over from Bury North to add steel to the defence."
